We have links with the local community by taking the children to the library, care home and local parks and shops. We offer out of school clubs for siblings to attend with great parent partnerships where there are ample opportunities for parents to come in to nursery and work with us.

I joined the team here at Court Oak in April 2019 as Acting Nursery Manager. I have worked in a range of nursery roles, starting as a nursery nurse and working my way up to where I am today. During my time in nurseries, I have gained a wealth of experience working with all different age groups and am qualified as an Early Years Teacher.
I strive for Court Oak to provide the best start for all the children within our care. Knowing the importance of early childhood experiences, it is imperative that we provide the children with the tools to learn and support them to thrive from these experiences. I am passionate about working closely with our families, and engaging you to be as much a part of your child’s nursery journey as you choose to be.
My name is Sophie and I have been with Bright Horizons since December 2017. Within 9 months I have thrived and became Room Leader within the preschool room, I was then training for my role as Third in Charge. I have recently been promoted to the position of Deputy manager of the Nursery at the end of 2018 and Bright Horizons have helped me to develop the skills needed to go with this position.
Bright Horizons have provided me with lots of training and filled me with confidence for all of my roles and I feel the appreciation from the company for all of the hard work that I provide. I feel that all staff who are welcomed into the company are given the correct training that they need in order to thrive within their positions within the settings.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
