Welcome to Annandale Early Learning and Childcare, where our experienced and long-standing staff support children’s development and early education from 3 months to 5 years. Our happy and nurturing setting is the ideal place to watch your little one flourish.
Ideal for All Age Groups
As well as each age group enjoying their own room with specialised activities and resources to support their learning milestones, we also have a calming sensory room. This room is an ideal place for relaxed learning and is available for all age groups.
Your baby will be comforted as they settle down to sleep in our separate, cosy sleep room, giving you peace of mind knowing their routine won’t be disrupted.
Learning Opportunities for Every Child
Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through enriching learning experiences. Whether they are discovering how the world works with our Growing Scientists activities, or practicing their maths, rhythm and rhyme in our Boogie Mites music sessions, there’s always an opportunity to learn something new. Activities are child-led, meaning that we’ll use your little one’s interests and suggestions as the basis for the topics we choose.
Our holistic yet personal approach supports each child’s wellbeing, development and progress – whether that’s moving rooms or preparing them for school.
You can follow your child’s nursery day via the Bright Horizons Family app.
An Enriching and Social Environment
Your child will thrive as their love of learning and creativity is encouraged. We hold regular baking and cooking sessions led by our onsite chef, as well as a monthly breakfast club where you can join your little one for a tasty brekkie.
Outdoor Fun and Learning
Featuring two separate age-specific play areas, our beautiful, landscaped garden is a fun and exciting place to explore and learn. Your child will also enjoy trips to our local allotment, where they can get stuck into planting and gardening, as they learn about how fruit and vegetables grow. We also have a designated space in a local community garden, giving your child an additional outdoor space to explore and have fun.
Taking Care of the Essentials
To make busy mornings a little easier, our nursery in Edinburgh includes essentials such as meals and snacks (all prepared fresh by our onsite chef), wipes, nappies, and sun cream.
Convenient and Central Location
Our nursery is located just minutes from Edinburgh city centre, Princes Street Garden and Edinburgh Waverly station, making it ideal for local and commuting parents. We also have a buggy park and car park, so drop-offs and pickups are as easy as possible.
Your Personal Tour
We would love to meet you and your little one. To come and see the nursery yourself, book your own personal tour and our caring team will show you everything our nursery has to offer.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the NEW Bright Horizons Family App. The app will offer a variety of features that will give you the ability to get more information on your child's day than ever before, as well as being able to notify the nursery of any changes to your planned pick-up or absences, as well as booking extra sessions.
