Welcome to Woodford Woodlands Day Nursery and Preschool. Our beautiful nursery set in a charming character building is dedicated to providing the best care, support, and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Spacious Rooms to Explore

Our cosy baby room has a wide range of wooden resources and sensory toys for your little one to enjoy, as well as access to its own baby garden. We follow individual home routines to help make the transition from home to nursery life easier.

In the toddler room, your little explorer will have lots of space to roam around, making exciting new discoveries and spending time playing with friends.

Preschoolers love their busy room, where they are supported by our qualified preschool teacher to help them feel ready and confident to start school.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government’s EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child’s wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that’s moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Enjoying the Garden

Our lovely, large garden offers lots of fun learning opportunities. We use the garden throughout the day, giving your child plenty of fresh air while enjoying the natural surroundings. As well as our variety of toys and resources, we also have an allotment area for the children to grow their very own vegetables and plants.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally-balanced meals are prepared by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to snacks, formula, nappies, wipes, and creams.
