Tingley Day Nursery and Preschool

Welcome to Bright Horizons Tingley Day Nursery and Preschool, located in a tranquil residential area, providing the best start to schooling life through our enriching Bright Beginnings Curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years. With onsite parking, excellent transport links, and proximity to M62 and Morley train station, our nursery offers exciting activities planned around the children’s interests.

We have five spacious playrooms within the setting, with low-level furniture allows the children unrestricted access to our wide range of play resources and activities. The rooms are structured in such a way as to promote each child's independence, along with their decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Our large and bright baby room focuses on your child’s social, physical, and emotional development. The room is filled with a wide variety of sensory resources and benefits from its own nappy changing area and dedicated outdoor space.

The toddler room has lots of space for exploration and has its own nappy and toilet area to support your child with toilet training. Toddlers are also able to freeflow to the garden, allowing them to enjoy the outdoors and choose where they learn throughout the day.

In preschool, your child will be taught by our qualified preschool teacher, who will prepare them with the skills they need to feel ready and confident to start school. To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school. In addition, we offer Boogie mites an interactive music and movement session, which is loved by children of all ages and provides exciting opportunities to learn about the world through music and song.

With freeflow access from the rooms, our lovely garden, equipped with a variety of fun resources, encourages children to explore outdoor space, fostering their independence; furthermore, outdoor activities are planned, including a wonderful vegetable garden for your mini gardener to learn and actively participate in plant care.

While your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
