Welcome to Southam Day Nursery and Preschool, where for over 24 years our dedicated and well-established team has provided excellent care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
The nursery was recently completely refurbished, with each of our age-tailored rooms getting a full decorative upgrade, as well as being filled with high-quality resources and activities to aid your little one's development.
In our light and airy baby room, we have a separate area for non-mobile babies, who can explore a range of stimulating and sensory toys as they form bonds with their key workers. All activities are planned around each baby's age and development. The room also benefits from a separate sleeping area and nappy change area.
The toddler room is bright and spacious and offers lots of space for your child to explore. The room also has a separate toilet and nappy changing area to help support your little one with toilet training.
In our preschool room, the children are taught by our own qualified preschool teacher, who prepares the children with the key skills they need to feel ready and confident to start school.
Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.
Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.
Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.
You can stay updated with your child's day through our Bright Horizons Family app.
To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.
We're fortunate to have a large garden, which is divided into age-specific areas to ensure your child always has access to the best resources and activities for their development. The garden has a beautiful and spacious lawn area, lots of trees and greenery, a vegetable garden, and pretty flower beds, offering an idyllic setting for your little one to explore.
Each classroom offers freeflow access to the garden, allowing your child to go outside throughout the day.
We can't wait to meet you and your little one. To see our nursery in Southam yourself, book your own personal tour and our team will show you everything our nursery has to offer.
