Wish Park Hove Day Nursery and Preschool

Come and explore our Bright Horizons Wish Park Hove Day Nursery and Preschool located in central Hove, where we welcome, and nurture children aged 6 months to 5 years. Perfectly situated for our local and commuting families, the nursery is within walking distance from Portslade Train station and Aldrington Train station, providing direct access to Brighton City Centre. With gated access at the back of our garden leading straight to Wish Park and within walking distance of the local beach, our children love exploring the local area.

We have three key rooms for our babies, Two’s and our Pre-schoolers. Additionally, we are fortunate to have separate creative rooms for the pre-schoolers and Two’s. The Two’s creative room features a beautiful marine fish tank with various fish, including, Nemo, Dory and a star fish that resembles an octopus! 

We offer two outdoor rooms – a sensory room used by babies and Two’s, and the Summer House, used by our pre-school children as an outdoor classroom. Babies also enjoy playing in the garden, with their own fenced-off section allowing them to explore the garden confidently. They have their playhouse, story-telling area, a sand/water tray and age-appropriate toys to challenge them physically.

Our garden is designed to inspire children's imagination with a safe, soft surface. Year-round activities include a mud kitchen, sand and water trays, a playhouse, and climbing frames for physical and imaginative play. We've also created a hands-on growing area where children learn plant care, actively participating in tasks like preparing soil, planting, and maintaining fruits and vegetables for our meals. This holistic approach fosters an appreciation for nature and imparts valuable lessons on healthy eating and nutrition.
