Welcome to Lancaster Day Nursery and Preschool. At our Ofsted Outstanding nursery in Lancaster, we provide the very best care and early education for children aged 3 months to 4 years.

Spacious Rooms

Our baby room is large and bright and offers lots of space for your little one to explore as they start making discoveries about the world around them. In this room, we care for children aged 3 months to 2 years and we have a range of activities to support them as they develop. This lovely room also benefits from a separate sleeping area as well as direct access to our baby garden.

Children aged 2 to 3 years love their bright and cosy toddler room, where we support toilet training and language development.

In preschool, children aged 3 to 5 begin developing the key skills they need to feel ready and confident to start school. Preschoolers benefit from direct access to the garden, which they share with the toddler room.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government’s EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child’s wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that’s moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Enriching Learning Programmes

At our nursery in Lancaster, your child will get the best start to their schooling life through enriching learning experiences thanks to our Growing Enhancement programmes. This unique programme introduces your child to essential key skills in subjects including maths, reading, writing, science, art, IT, sports, and more.

Garden Adventures

We’re fortunate to have two large gardens to support your little explorer as they grow. Our baby garden features a wide range of age-appropriate resources, allowing them to engage in a number of fun activities throughout the day.

Toddlers and preschoolers share a spacious and exciting garden, to which they have freeflow access. We also have a Forest School area, which provides a wealth of fun learning opportunities and makes a great place for a mini beast hunt. 

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally-balanced and tasty meals are prepared daily. Our all-inclusive care extends to nappies, formula, wipes, and creams.
