Welcome to Bright Horizons Bristol Long Ashton Day Nursery and Preschool. Our dedicated and passionate staff are committed to providing the best care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Conveniently located near Bristol Temple Meads Station, our nursery boasts an onsite car park. Situated within the David Lloyd Club, we're just ten minutes away from Bristol city centre and adjacent to Long Ashton Park and Ride.

At our nursery we provide bespoke settling in sessions for your child. These can be up to 8 sessions with a maximum of 2 hours. Settling in sessions are an important transition for a child. It enables them to form strong safe attachments with peers, and to become familiar with the new environments and other children in the room. 

Our vibrant rooms are perfect for exploration and discovery, tailored to each age group and equipped with air conditioning for year-round comfort. From sensory activities to messy play, every day offers excitement, learning, and friendship-building. Plus, our Boogie Mites sessions provide beloved music and movement experiences, connecting children to the world through rhythm and melody.

For our youngest children aged 3 to 24 months, our baby room is a haven of warmth and stimulation. Here, babies can safely engage their senses in various areas designed just for them, including a cosy sleep space for uninterrupted rest. Our dedicated baby garden provides daily outdoor exploration opportunities, enriching their early experiences.

Next to the baby room lies our toddler room, catering to the adventurous spirits of those aged 24 to 36 months. Toddlers will enjoy the freedom to explore both indoors and outdoors, with direct access to our gardens. Outdoor adventures include scaling wooden climbing frames and cruising around on bikes, ensuring each day is brimming with discovery and delight.

The Preschool room offers our 36 months to 48 months to be school ready, with our programme focusing on all areas of the development supporting children going into reception. We also offer structured play with a range of open-ended resources. To ensure your child is confident to start school, our preschoolers take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Explore our enchanting garden, featuring an adventure garden, role play area, cycle track, sand pit, stage, wooden climbing frame, and much more. Additionally, our separate baby garden provides a safe outdoor space for our youngest explorers.

While they are having fun, you can stay connected with your child's experiences and milestones using our Family app, available to all Bright Horizons parents.
