Our charming Aberdeen early learning and childcare centre is designed to support your child’s development from 3 months to 5 years.
We love to nurture and develop your child’s curiosity for the world around them, whether it be through our regular French lessons or our dedicated ‘Book Nook’—where they can explore the adventures of their favourite book characters.

To further support your child, they can also bend, hammer and construct in our woodwork shed and let their imagination run wild with our supply of ‘Loose Parts Play’ materials. This gives your child open access to raw materials and the tools to craft them into their very own creations.
With our childcare centre being in such an ideal location, your child will also be guided on regular trips by our experienced childcare team. This includes visits to the local park, library and other landmarks to build their sense of connection with the local community.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

We are conveniently located under a 10 minute drive from Aberdeen town centre and Aberdeen Railway Station. There is also easy walking access to local bus routes in the area.
Our staff would love to meet you and your child, so book your visit today and we will show you everything our childcare centre has to offer during your own personal tour.

24 St Swithin Early Learning and Childcare Lead Practitioner

Amber Davidson

I am the Lead Practitioner at 24 St Swithin and have been passionate about childcare for 12 years! Throughout my learning and career I have enjoyed completing level 2, 3 and 4 in Children’s Early Learning and Childcare and currently looking forward to beginning PDA. I love to help and watch as the children learn and develop into their own unique individual personalities, I also enjoy working within a ‘family feel’ team leading practice alongside the staff.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
