Fleet nursery children explore sensory items

Bright Horizons News

Children at Bright Horizons Fleet Day Nursery and Preschool have been enhancing their sensory skills by exploring with a number of different items.

Sensory play is also fundamental to support a healthy brain development for children to learn about the world around them.

“Sensory play is important to support language development, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills and social interaction,” said Nursery Manager Toni Kirby.

Bright Horizons now provides twice-weekly access to Covid-19 lateral flow tests for all staff within our nurseries, in line with the Government’s guidance and protocol for early years settings in England. This marks the latest step in Keeping Everyone Safe within our nurseries.
