Our Future Earth Agenda brings together individuals from across our Bright Horizons family and business to help minimise our environmental impact and work towards a greener and more sustainable tomorrow.
It’s important that we all work together - children, staff, parents, and the wider community - to play our part. We believe that it’s our role as early childhood leaders to be the change makers and advocates for the Future Earth Agenda to help promote and protect our children’s future.
Early Childhood and Operations
Through Eco-Champions and ‘Planet-Earth Superheroes’ , our Early Childhood Specialist team encourages a passion for sustainability within our nurseries.
Our Bright Beginnings Curriculum promotes opportunities and experiences that stimulate children’s curiosity and interest in the natural world—using Loose Parts Play and Outdoor Play to encourage less waste and provide more opportunities for sustainable learning.
Reward and Wellbeing
We aim to design our company benefits to promote sustainability while supporting our colleagues. Initiatives such as Cycle to Work and Season Ticket advances on public transport are all programs to help promote our colleagues while supporting our environment.
Facilities
Facilities and the control of the build environment makes a significant contribution to the Bright Horizons Future Earth programme. Working with our contractor partners, suppliers and nursery teams, we support the goal to minimise our environmental impact and work towards a greener and more sustainable tomorrow.

In the Work+Family Team, we are privileged to work with some of the UK’s leading organisations.
