Annandale Early Learning and Childcare

Welcome to Annandale Early Learning and Childcare, where our experienced and long-standing staff support children's development and early education from 2 to 5 years. Located just minutes off Leith walk and a short walk from train, tram and bus routes, our nursery is ideal for local and commuting parents. We also have a buggy park and car park, so drop-offs and pickups are as easy as possible.

Each age group enjoys their own room with specialised activities and resources to support their learning and development. We are a very multi-cultural nursery, embracing and celebrating the many cultures and languages that children have in our nursery.

Throughout our age-focused rooms, we provide the best start to schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings, Our national curriculum, The Curriculum for Excellence, designed by our own Early Years specialists. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress, whether that involves transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

We love to ensure that every child thrives as their love of learning and creativity is encouraged. While your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.

Our garden has a range of resources to suit all ages where it provides a fun and exciting place to explore and learn. Our rooms all have doors leading directly to the garden, giving children the opportunity to explore indoors and out. Being in the heart of the community of Leith, children experience the opportunity to explore their local environment.
