Located in the Stratford Office Village on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, our Stony Stratford day nursery offer premium quality childcare for children age 3 months to 5 years.

Our nursery & preschool is situated in a secure one-level building on a quiet estate. As well as the four core nursery rooms, our safari room brings the jungle to life with large jungle animals, climbing equipment and nature exploration area. All of our rooms are equipped with Community Play Furniture and equipment and high-specification ICT equipment, including a touch screen computer and interactive smart board.

Our amazing adventure gardens have been carefully designed to include fantastic facilities that encourage the imaginations of children while supporting their all-round development. We have 2 exciting new gardens including a tipi, up and under bridge, sand pit, separate baby garden and much more.  While the children adapt to their new environment, we offer parents the use of our parent room where you can relax while your child settles in. Our extra-curricular activities include Boogie Mites and myHappymind, encouraging a healthy lifestyle from a young age.

Our highly experienced and dedicated staff team undergo regular training to keep their skills up-to-date with the latest innovations in childcare practice. Many of our staff members have been at Stony Stratford Day Nursery and Preschool for over 10 years.

Stony Stratford Day Nursery and Preschool Deputy Manager

April Gillett

I have been lucky enough to have worked in child care for 10 years; starting out at a private independent nursery where I completed an early year’s apprenticeship. I then moved on to a deputy role in a preschool setting connected to a local school in Warwickshire  - this was a great opportunity for me to develop on a professional level, and build also build a great foundation of knowledge to provide preschool education. Due to family life I was able to work in a variety of nursery settings before settling at Asquith Stony Stratford. I started at Asquith Heathrow as third in charge and when the opportunity arose for the deputy role at Stony Stratford I knew the job was for me. I wanted to continue my professional development, sharing all my knowledge and experience with the staff, children and families that we welcome here. I wouldn’t change this job for the world.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
