Meet the Team

Kerrie Marguerite Podesta

Kayleigh Oliver

My name is Kayleigh and I am the acting Deputy Manager of Stepping Stones Montessori and I have been seconded from Talbot Woods Day Nursery – Bright Horizons. I became a modern apprentice in 2005 to pursue my dream career - working in childcare. I have lots of cousins and younger siblings that I enjoy looking after and I have been babysitting since I was 14.

I love to watch children grow and develop and I look forward to the year ahead – getting to know the children, families and staff. I have a lot to offer the nursery and endeavour to continue to provide excellent care and education for all the children and families that come to the nursery.

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
