Our bright purpose-built Nottingham children's nursery is situated within the David Lloyd club on Aspley lane and offers childcare for children aged from three months up to five years of age.
Being located in the David Lloyd club the children are able to utilise and benefit from the soft play area, tennis courts and swimming lessons which all the children enjoy. The nursery provides childcare in Nottingham on weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 7.30am - 6.00pm and on-site car parking is available.
We are situated between two main hospitals, close to local amenities and on a major bus and tram route. We have a large outdoor area that includes age-appropriate spaces for the children to enjoy and explore which enables the staff to use the outdoor area to extend the children's knowledge and development.
We pride ourselves on providing safe, exciting and enjoyable nurseries where children thrive as they learn. Nottingham Day Nursery children gain valuable life skills that they can take with them for the future. We will be delighted to welcome you to Nottingham day nursery.

I joined Bright Horizons in October 2020 as manager of Nottingham Day Nursery. Within the nursery I ensure that we maintain a high-quality provision following the guidelines set by Ofsted, the local authority and Bright Horizons. My passion is to ensure we have high quality teaching across the board with emphasising the importance of an enriching environment whilst keeping health and safety at the for-front.
I started working within nurseries at the age of 16 as I initially wanted to become a teacher. After completing college I went to University where I wanted to follow my Teaching passion. Once graduating from University with a BA Hons in Childhood Studies I found my passion in wanting to make a difference within nurseries. Working with private nurseries as an Early Years Teacher, State Schools/Private Schools and Colleges I have always had the ambition of wanting to teach Early Years to staff and ensuring that staff have the knowledge and skills to want to make a difference in children’s education and learning.
The staff team at Nottingham show a natural passion of wanting to care for the children and thrive on wanting to make a difference. Each staff member brings their own skills to the team and together we are able to create a wonderful space for children to flourish.
I am excited for my Bright Horizons journey and I look forward to continuing my learning to ensure that I cascade this to my team.

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
