Bishopbriggs Early Learning and Childcare

Step into our Bright Horizons Bishopbriggs Day nursery and Preschool where we have been providing excellent care and education for over 30 years, to children aged 3 months to 5 years. Children become engrossed when engaging in our well-established and spacious nursery which offers a wealth of exciting features including a mud kitchen and a variety of open-ended resources and loose parts to explore.

Located within a short walking distance of Bishopbriggs train station. We're within the catchment of many local primary schools, including Woodhill, St. Helens, Wester Cleddens, St. Matthews, Balmuildy and Meadowburn Primary and Gaelic Unit, making school transitions easy and convenient.

Babies can learn, explore, and develop their independence in our bright and stimulating baby room.

Whilst toddlers develop wonder and awe within our colourful toddler room, which has been designed to allow them to take their next step in their learning journey. They also have access to our gazebo within the garden – where we go off on an adventure using our imaginations through story sessions or music and dance experiences.

Older toddlers can explore messy play, our construction zone, role play, home living and lots more. Your child will also have access to their own toilet to encourage toilet training.

Preschoolers have a dynamic free flowing classroom and take part in gentle lessons to get them ready for their next step - school. They also have a covered outdoor extension, so playtime and learning can take place outside in all weathers.

Your child will get the best start to their schooling life through enriching learning experiences. Whether they are practicing their coordination and balance in open and spacious garden, or exercising their imaginations in the role play area, there's always an opportunity to learn something new. Activities are child-led, meaning that we'll use your child’s interests and suggestions as the basis for the topics we choose.

Moving outside our children have so much fun in our large garden areas, which include a mud kitchen, a variety of open ended resources and loose parts for exploration , and we support children in developing their green fingers by offering planting and growing experiences; and while your child is busy exploring, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.

We view our parents and carers as partners and strive to create strong relationships through our home-link activities, regular parent's evenings, and fun events such as graduation day, Christmas shows and summer fairs.
