An enriching nursery in the heart of the community

Children love our well-established and spacious nursery which offers a wealth of exciting features including a mud kitchen, adventure park and trampoline garden. We've been providing excellent care and education for over 30 years, to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Exciting Resources and Activities for All Ages

Babies can learn, explore, and develop their independence in our bright and stimulating baby room.

Your toddler will love discovering our colourful toddler room, which has been designed to allow them to take their next step in their learning journey. They also have access to our trampoline garden - always a firm favourite with our bouncy toddlers.

Older toddlers can explore messy play, our construction zone, role play, home living and lots more. Your little one will also have access to their own toilet to encourage toilet training.

Preschoolers have a dynamic free flowing classroom and take part in gentle lessons to get them ready for their next step - school. They also have a covered outdoor extension, so playtime and learning can take place outside in all weathers.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through enriching learning experiences. Whether they are practicing their coordination and balance in our adventure playground, or exercising their imaginations in the role play area, there's always an opportunity to learn something new. Activities are child-led, meaning that we'll use your little one's interests and suggestions as the basis for the topics we choose.

Our holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development and progress - whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Putting Your Family First

We view our parents as partners, and strive to create strong relationships through our home-link activities, regular parent's evenings, and fun events such as graduation day, Christmas shows and summer fairs.

Outdoor Discoveries and Delicious Meals

Your little one will love exploring our large garden areas, which include a mud kitchen, adventure playground, trampoline garden, and an allotment area.

In between play and learning, our onsite chef serves a wide variety of freshly-prepared, delicious meals and snacks.

Convenient Location for Local Catchment

Our nursery is located within a short walking distance of Bishopbriggs station. We're within the catchment of many local primary schools, including Woodhill, St. Helens, Wester Cleddens, St. Matthews, Balmuildy and Meadowburn Primary and Gaelic Unit, making school transitions easy and convenient.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
