Aberdeen nurseries celebrate preschool graduates as children prepare for their next big adventure

Bright Horizons 24 St Swithin Day Nursery and Preschool and Bright Horizons 44 St Swithin Day Nursery and Preschool recently celebrated a special milestone as their preschool children took part in graduation ceremonies, marking the end of their early years journey and the beginning of an exciting new chapter as they prepare to start school.

The graduation events brought together children, families and nursery team members to reflect on the children’s achievements and celebrate the progress they have made during their time at the nurseries. Dressed in graduation caps and gowns, the children proudly took to the stage to receive their certificates in front of family members and friends.

The ceremonies recognised each child's individual development, from growing confidence and independence to building friendships, communication skills and a love of learning. Throughout their time at Bright Horizons, the children have been supported through a blend of child-led exploration and carefully planned learning experiences designed to help them thrive both now and in the future.

At both nurseries, supporting children through important milestones is a key part of the nursery experience. The graduation ceremonies provided an opportunity to recognise each child's achievements while helping them feel excited and confident about the next stage of their education.

Parents and carers joined the celebrations and were presented with keepsakes to commemorate the occasion, recognising the important partnership between families and nursery teams throughout each child's early years journey.

The events form part of Bright Horizons’ commitment to creating meaningful experiences for children and families, supporting school readiness and celebrating key moments in every child's development.

Helen, Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons, said: "Our graduation ceremonies are always among the highlights of the year. They are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate everything the children have achieved and to reflect on how much they have grown during their time with us.

"We are incredibly proud of every child graduating this year. They leave us with the confidence, curiosity and skills to embrace their next adventure at school, and we wish them and their families every success for the future."

Bright Horizons 24 and 44 St Swithin Day Nurseries are holding an open day on 3rd October. Find out more and reserve your place here: https://www.brighthorizons.co.uk/Events/open-days
