Antonio

Originally from Brazil, I’m the proud father of Sophie, who joined Bright Horizons in 2024 as a one-year-old. Sophie lives with me, her mum, and her feline brother, Miko.

I work as a senior data scientist in the academic sector. Outside of work, I enjoy playing the piano, learning languages, exploring London, and long-distance cycling—hobbies that Sophie seems to be growing into! Every day, we put on our helmets, hop on our bike, and cycle to Bright Horizons together. I’m excited to contribute to the Parent Panel and help foster a supportive community for families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Azim

I’m Azim, dad to my 2-year-old toddler, Kaden, who has been with Bright Horizons since the start of his educational journey. Aside from enjoying fatherhood, I’ve worked in IT management consulting for the past 20-odd years. Originally from East Africa and with family dispersed across the globe, my family and I are avid travellers. Kaden has had the opportunity to explore various parts of the world while growing up—nearly too quickly for us to keep up! I’m excited to be part of the Parent Panel and hope that my interactions with other parents will benefit us all.

My name is Brendan, I’m 40, living in Leeds with my wife Ruth, and 2-year-old son Luke. Originally from Ireland, I’ve called Leeds home for 9 years. By profession, I’m a Design Quality Engineer for a medical device company. Outside of work, I enjoy kickboxing, running, and volunteering for the British Red Cross.

Claire

Hi, my name is Claire and I have a wonderful daughter, Ottilie, who is about to turn 1! We’ve been with Bright Horizons since Ottilie was 7 months old and she is absolutely thriving there. When I’m not being mum, I work as a doctor in maternity, delivering babies and caring for women’s health. I love the outdoors, being active, baking, and cooking fresh, healthy meals for the family. I’m very much looking forward to making a positive difference through being part of the Parent Panel!

Clare

Hi, I’m Clare! I’m a first-time mum to my little boy, Harry. I work in the NHS by day, and in the evenings and weekends, I love spending quality time with Harry doing all sorts of fun and creative activities. He started nursery when he was just 7 months old and has absolutely thrived since – especially developing a big love for messy play! It’s been such a joy to explore that side of him, and we’ve embraced the chaos with lots of painting, sensory fun, and hands-on crafts.

I’m really looking forward to sharing our experiences and connecting with other parents through the Parent Panel.

Daisy

Hi, I’m Daisy! A first-time mum to my wonderful daughter. By day, I’m a Product Manager for a Tech startup and in my rare free moments, I love baking yummy cakes, catching up with friends, and indulging in said yummy cakes. I’m thrilled to be part of the Parent Panel, sharing feedback with Bright Horizons, as well as personal experiences for the benefit of other parents and families.

Dina

Hello, I’m Dina, a South West London mum to a lovely 2-year-old boy. Motherhood has been an exciting journey – one with a steep learning curve! I’m particularly interested in weaning, using my love for food and cooking to create new recipes that are age-appropriate for my boy. I enjoy getting creative and spending time outdoors when I’m not balancing work and managing the “terrible twos” – learning how to deal with big little feelings!

Elyse

Hi there, I’m Elyse! I live with my husband, two cats, and our 2-year-old daughter (who also thinks she’s a cat). With both my husband and I working full-time in inflexible roles and family scattered around the UK, our little girl has been going to Bright Horizons since she was 8 months old, and our nursery has been a huge part of our family ever since. When I’m not in mum or work mode, I’m probably either playing Sims or watching a terrible horror movie … and if I’m not there, I’m asleep on the sofa.

Emma

Hi, my name is Emma, and my beautiful daughter has been part of the Bright Horizons family since she was 7 months old. When I’m not chasing her around at home, I work full-time for a local housing association. I love baking, good food, and finding different activities to do with my daughter.

Hannah

Hello, I'm Hannah, a veterinary nurse and animal physiotherapist who lives in Surrey with my husband and little boy. I was nervous when my little one started nursery, as he was shy and had a speech delay, but the nursery has been AMAZING at helping him thrive. They have been working with speech and language, as well as SEN. I joined the parent panel to help put other parents at ease and offer support for children with speech development.

Hannah

Hello, I’m Hannah, mum to 3-year-old Isabella, the result of our third IVF cycle. She has been at Bright Horizons since she was 6 months old. She started at two days a week, and now she is up to four. When she is at nursery, I am the Managing Partner of a marketing agency specialising in building complex websites and web apps. As an older mum of 50, I have had a different journey from that of my younger mum friends. I hope to be able to help others in the same position.

Helen

Hi, I’m Helen, mum of two. My youngest attends nursery part-time while I’m working; my eldest has now graduated from Bright Horizons to school. Over the past few years, we’ve experienced babies, toddlers, nursery, and preschool rooms, so hopefully I can offer some useful insight.

I love spending quality time with my little ones. They won’t be little forever (sob!), so I want to soak up the best bits of these early years and provide experiences to build treasured memories. So, goodbye to a spotless house or me-time, and hello to crafts, activities, and lovely days out on adventures!

Ivanna

I’m Ivanna, a stay-at-home mum originally from New York City, now living in London for over seven years with my husband and two boys. My elder son (4 years old) recently graduated from Bright Horizons this past August and is now thriving in reception. My younger son (5 months old) has started part-time in the Babies Room to enjoy more social interaction. Having experienced both a child graduating and an infant settling in, I feel I can offer valuable insights into the full Bright Horizons journey.

Jamie

Hey, I’m Jamie, 38, and a Deputy Head Teacher at a secondary school. I embraced parenthood in 2022 with the arrival of my son. Since then, I’ve been on the rollercoaster of parenthood. Dad life is both the best and most challenging job I’ve ever had! Beyond that, I enjoy golf, good food, and quality time with friends and family. I’m passionate about child development - especially around routines and emotional growth.

Jayne

I’m Jayne, a former childminder and now the founder of ‘Pudding and Squidge’. I have three children, and the nicknames for the eldest two were the inspiration for the company name. I have a keen interest in all things related to childhood development and want to show the world that supporting your child’s developmental goals can be super easy and low-pressure. Us parents have enough on our plates!

Jessica

I’m Jess, a mum to a toddler named Eddie and a Chartered Chemical Engineer running a manufacturing site. Outside of work, I love traveling, getting outdoors, being active, and trying new things whenever I get a chance!

Juanita

Hi, I’m Juanita, a proud mum to a lively three-year-old boy. As a family, we love spending time outdoors, traveling to new places, and creating special memories through fun and exciting experiences. When I’m not busy being a mum, I lead a fast-paced career in tech, managing global teams and driving innovation in a leadership role. Parenthood has brought a new perspective to my life, and I love teaching my son new things, watching him grow, and embracing the joy and adventure he brings to every day. I’m excited to join the Bright Horizons Parent Panel and share my experiences with other families.

Katy

I’m Katy, a mum of two who works full-time in Infection Sciences. I have both a girl and a boy, and they both attend Bright Horizons and absolutely love it! I decided to get involved with the Parent Panel not only to advocate for the great work Bright Horizons does but also to share my experiences with others. We had a somewhat turbulent nursery journey until we found Bright Horizons, and I’m excited to participate in the Parent Panel to share my experiences of the nursery journey and becoming a mother.

Ko

Hi, I’m Ko, a parent to two wonderful children. My daughter, Orla, has been at the nursery since she was 10 months old and absolutely loves it. We’ve seen how much nursery has helped her develop socially, creatively, and grow into her own personality. My son, Hugo, is just 4 months old and will be joining soon. My husband and I both work—me in medical device marketing—and we love balancing our busy lives with family adventures outdoors. I’m excited to join the Parent Panel and contribute to this amazing community that’s already given us so much.

Laura

I'm Laura, and I'm a mum to two beautiful girls. I recently had a baby girl just before Christmas, and I also have a bright, bubbly 2-year-old. I love being a mum, and it's been great to grow our family. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, running half marathons, and cooking.

Our daughters each joined Bright Horizons at 12 months old, with Betsy now having left nursery to start Reception! Nursery has been a vital part of building our community, and I love being an active member of the Parent Panel, contributing to social media content with my little ones, from games in the park and making crafts to cooking up a storm and writing blog posts. I’ve also really enjoyed learning more about Bright Horizons and the care and thought that goes into its decisions, output and market research.

Hi, I’m Sam—mum to Neil (a preschooler) and Cara (a soon-to-be toddler). I used to lecture in programming, but now I freelance. I juggle work, chaos, and cuddles, and in my spare time, I dive into the science of happiness. After all, who doesn’t want to crack that code?

Stephanie

Hello! I'm a proud first-time mum to a wonderfully chaotic little girl who keeps me on my toes and fills my days with joy. At 32, navigating motherhood with a disability has shown me just how strong (and creative!) parents can be. My passion is making my daughter’s world as magical as possible, and I love connecting with other parents to share tips, support, and smiles.
