New nursery in Hertford has bright start
Bright Horizons successfully opened a brand-new nursery and preschool in Hertford earlier this month.
Hertford Day Nursery and Preschool provides care and early years education for children aged three months to five years. The nursery is conveniently located on John Tate Road on Foxholes Business Park and is just a short walk from the town centre and Hertford East train station. It also has ample parking for families and great links to the motorway, making it ideal for commuting parents.
There are seven individual rooms, each carefully tailored to complement children’s age and stage of development, and dedicated sleep rooms for younger children. The nursery also has a large external play area complete with bug hotel and nature area, and two additional rooms for extra-curricular activities: a multi-purpose art and creative suite and a children’s kitchen. Nursery families also have access to a dedicated Parent Room with a variety of refreshments on offer.
Bright Horizons Hertford is open from 7:30am to 6:30pm, 52 weeks of the year, excluding Bank Holidays. All food is freshly prepared on-site and menus are developed in line with Action for Children ‘Menu Checked’ accreditation to provide children with a healthy and nutritionally balanced diet.
The nursery is managed by Emma Chappell who has worked in childcare and early years education for more than 20 years.
