Sparking curiosity about the world around them and growing children’s love for the outdoors
Children are naturally curious about the world around them - "What is this? What can I do with it?" - it’s in their DNA!
From an early age, every new discovery helps them build confidence as they grow into little explorers, scientists, builders, or even future doctors. That’s why we bring nature into everything we do.
Our outdoor spaces are designed for climbing, digging and discovering. All our learning is hands-on and exciting, helping children experience the world in all its messy, wonderful detail. Our nurseries are full of magical outdoor spaces - think playful gardens, vegetable patches, rooftop hideaways and secret woodland trails. Whether they’re playing chase, making mud pies, or imagining a jungle trek in their local park, every day offers the chance for a new adventure.
Nature is at the heart of our Bright Beginnings Curriculum. Discovery abounds in the great outdoors, sticks, stones, and leaves become tools for counting, storytelling, and exploration. Climbing trees, singing songs, and building dens aren’t just fun - they help children grow emotionally and physically, boosting their confidence and wellbeing.
Our Forest Schools encourage little adventurers to take on carefully managed risks in a safe and supportive environment. It’s a chance to see the world from new angles, build resilience, and create lasting memories - whether they’re a bug hunting detective, a tree-climbing champion, or king (or queen) of the castle in a makeshift den. More than just time outside, it’s a hands-on, exciting journey that shapes the way they think, learn, and explore.
With beautiful outdoor spaces and gardens to explore, we have over 65 nurseries (and counting!) with Eco School status. This mark recognises how we love to weave nature into everything children do – from getting creative with loose parts and recycled materials (think cardboard boxes transformed into castles or rockets!) to discovering different weather patterns, growing plants and veggies, or creating bug hotels. These hands-on experiences spark their imaginations, while also teaching children about sustainability and appreciating nature in a fun, practical way.
Our practitioners help each child build a deep connection with nature - one that will stay with them as they grow.
