Meet the Team

Sarah Ross

I have been the Manager since October 2016. I have worked at Waterside since 2009, starting as a nursery assistant, and I gained my NVQ level 3 qualifications in 2010.  I have a strong passion for working with children; I have worked with all the different age groups and love to see children learning and developing.

We offer unique Growing Programmes for the children including, Growing Readers, Growing Writers, Growing Mathematicians, Growing Artists and Growing Scientists.

We have a very strong team of nursery staff who will always go the extra mile to help with settling new children in to the nursery, building positive relationships with all families and providing exceptional quality care and learning for children ages 3 months to 5 years.

Kirsty Warner

I have been in childcare since 2006 and joined Waterside in 2014 as maternity cover room leader for the baby room; I soon became a permenant member of staff leading the 1-2’s group. After a year I moved into lead the pre-school group and becoming Third in Charge. In November 2016 I was successful in becoming maternity cover Deputy Manager.  Having spent a lot of time in each age group I have a sound knowledge, understanding and experience of all age groups developmental stages.

I hold a foundation degree in Childcare and Education which I love putting into practice every day, delivering a variety of different activities and resources for individual children to learn and develop while having fun!
