Meet the Team

Name of person

Liz Clements

I have been in the childcare industry for 29 years, working in day nurseries, schools and children’s centres. For three years I worked as an Ofsted inspector, but I missed being with the children on a daily basis, so over two years ago I joined Bright Horizons and opened the Triangle Day Nursery for Oxford University in Headington.

I have a son Ben who is 22years old and while he was tiny I did a year of child minding in London.

I have an NNEB qualification and 5 years ago, I completed a part Master’s degree gaining a level 7 in National postgraduate qualification in integrated centre leadership (NPQICL).

I joined St Marys in August 2018 as a Senior Nursery Manager and I have spent some of my time supporting other Nurseries in London and Windsor.

Jocelyn Earl

I have been in the nursery profession for 10 years and have a young child of my own. I have been at Mongewell since 2009 and have grown within my role here, starting as a nursery assistant and progressing to deputy manager. I am delighted to now be the nursery manager. I have a level 2 and 3 NVQ IN Child care and Education. I also hold a Foundation Degree in Early Years.

I find working with young children rewarding, their curiosity and drive to learn is inspiring and refreshing.

I have been in the nursery profession now for 18 years. I have been with Mongewell park since March 2004, I’ve worked my way up the ladder from nursery assistant to third in charge and now to deputy manager. I have my Level2 & 3 NVQ in childcare and education.

I have a strong passion for childcare and I can remember wanting to work with children since a young age. I find working with children refreshing and rewarding and helping to make a difference in a young child’s life.

Name of person

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
