Meet the Team

ABIOLA DANIELS Bright Horizons Chelsea Nursery Manager

Lisa Beaney

I started my career in childcare as a work experience student, I have been in childcare industry for over 12 years and now nursery manager; this shows my commitment and dedication and willingness to strive for success within the childcare industry. During this time, I have gained many experiences and knowledge.

During this time in my career, it has been exciting meeting new parents & children, and getting to work with new people. I have always combined working and studying throughout my career.

I am very organised; I make sure the nursery runs smoothly and effectively to ensure it meets both parents and Ofsted standards. I am very passionate about children's growth and development, making sure they achieve the best.

I enjoy seeing other staff strive, by helping them to develop in their carers through training and making sure they progress. I believe in hard work, commitment and rewards.

Maidstone Day Nursery and Preschool Deputy Manager

Naomi Tribe

I started my childcare career back in 1997 as an apprentice, I worked my way up to be a room leader whilst completing my level 3 NVQ.

I had the privilege of working with all age groups from babies to preschool gaining lots of knowledge and experience.

I had a break from childcare to follow a new carer but I realised I was missing being in a childcare environment, so in 2011 I joined Bright Horizons as a nursery administrator, the position arose for the deputy manager which I grab the opportunity and have now been Deputy Manager for the last 5 years. This role has given me the opportunity to use my knowledge and skills gained previously in supporting the staff teams and the environment for the children to thrive in.

I enjoy the nursery environment as each day brings something new, I love watching and supporting the children grow and develop from babies and seeing them start on their new adventure to school.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons
