Mothering Sunday – Ideas on a budget
Mothering Sunday falls on the fourth Sunday in Lent, exactly three weeks before Easter Day. Once observed as a day on which people would visit their "mother" church, it has become an occasion for honouring the mothers of children and giving them presents. (Courtesy of the BBC)
However, Mothering Sunday in the current circumstances may be a very different one to usual. There are some lovely ideas for spoiling mums at home, which are still thoughtful and remind her of how loved and appreciated she is! Children of all ages can help (well, possibly apart from young babies…)
We hope these give you some ideas on how to make the mum in your life feel like a queen for at least some of the day! And of course, don’t just leave it to one day in the year to show her how much you care, maybe some of these treats could become a regular thing for her to enjoy.
