Being a toddler is a time of huge change, moving from the total dependence of babyhood to the more independent, mobile world of a preschooler.

At this stage, your child will be exploring their powers to communicate, to move purposely, to assert their independence and individuality, and to learn new and important skills like potty training!

Our Toddler Rooms

Learning through play is what toddlers do best.

Our toddler rooms provide a relaxed environment and age-appropriate activities that are set up to support their inquisitive nature and engage their interest in learning. Your child will enjoy fun activities that will inspire them to make discoveries about how things work and understand more about the world around them.

Designed by our Early Years specialists, your little one will get the very best start through our enriching and wellbeing focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum.

Outdoor Play

When your child wants to stretch their legs and get some fresh air, many of our nurseries offer secure and age-appropriate gardens. These activity-packed outdoor spaces enable little ones to explore safely and extend their learning, while under full supervision.

Our Staff

Our experienced staff understand the frequent changes in mood, interests, and capabilities of toddlers and are there to provide your little one with calm, consistent care and supportive teaching.

Your child will be guided through each step of their growing development, supporting them to reach development milestones, such as potty training, fine and gross motor skills, gaining independence and making friendships.

Food

To fuel your little one’s day, we serve up a delicious range of tastes, textures and flavours, with nutritionally balanced food that is freshly prepared every day. We cater for a variety of dietary requirements and allergies.

Your Toddler's Learning Journey

With so much to learn every day, tracking your child’s progress is as important to us as it is to you. Every child has a Learning Journey on our Bright Horizons Family App where you can easily see their milestones, achievements and new skills.

Safety and SEND Support

Every nursery practitioner is First Aid trained and we have specialist SEND staff in each nursery, there to support children who have special educational needs or a disability.
