My Bright Horizons Journey in ManchesterHi my name is Lorraine and I work at Bright Horizons Manchester. I have worked here for 6 months now and I really enjoy it. I love working in the preschool room with all of my peers, we work greatly as a team and we enjoy helping the children learn and develop.

I previously worked at Bright Horizons Didsbury for around 8 years on two different occasions where I also worked in the Pre-school room.

I like working at Manchester Bright Horizons because I really enjoy working with my peers in the preschool room and think we make a really great team. I also think that Chloe and the management team are a great help, and they support us all massively in all aspects whether it is professionally or personally.

My Bright Horizons Journey in ManchesterMy name is Liam and I have worked at Bright Horizons Manchester since May 2018 and I really like it here. Since starting I have completed lots of courses which has given me more knowledge and understanding to further my role at Manchester. I have recently enrolled in the Room Leader programme and have learnt quite a lot so far, I am very eager to learn more and to progress within Bright Horizons.

I have had so much support from the manager Chloe in my journey, she is always there to offer a helping hand and support me whenever I need it.

My Bright Horizons Journey in Manchester“My name is Stacey and I have recently completed my level 3 qualification at Summerfields Day Nursery. Completing this qualification has been the most rewarding experience. At times I found it challenging but with the help and support from my tutor and my team, I have achieved my goal. I am so proud of myself for finishing my qualification and enhancing my knowledge in the early years.”

My Bright Horizons Journey in ManchesterMy name is Emma, I am a Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons Trafford. I have been working for Bright Horizons for 8 years now.  In those eight years, I have ticked off lots of things I have wanted to achieve during my career. The company has supported me all the way through my professional development. I began my journey as a Room Supervisor a preschool room and during that time I was completing a BA Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies. My nursery manager was very experienced and supported me in gaining the qualifications I desired.  Bright Horizons has allowed me the opportunity to attend regular training and development days. After achieving the EYTS, I felt I was really able to guide and mentor others.

Every day is a new day in the nursery, meeting new families and building relationships with our children is amazing. I think the moment parents trust you with the most precious thing in the world to them, is the moment you realise just how important our jobs are.

My Bright Horizons Journey in ManchesterMy name is Maaria and I started working at Bright Horizons Trafford as an apprentice in December 2016. Before I joined the company, I had very little experience in working with children. I always knew I wanted to work in childcare and I was very pleased to be given the opportunity to train and learn at the same time.

Now I enjoy working with children and families to support their development and have gained lots of experience. I am glad I chose to join Bright Horizons as they have supported me in progressing further in my career and given me the opportunity to attend training courses to develop my knowledge. Recently, I’ve qualified to Level 3 and now I am excited to start my new role as a Baby Room Leader.
