Deputy Mayor Attends Celebration of Refurbished Beaconsfield Nurseries

Bright Horizons Brindley House and Northgate House celebrate their transformation with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Deputy Mayor of Beaconsfield.

Two much‑loved nurseries in the heart of Beaconsfield are unveiling their refreshed spaces following a significant six‑month refurbishment, showcasing intentionally designed environments created to support the town’s youngest learners.

Bright Horizons Brindley House Day Nursery and Preschool and Bright Horizons Northgate House Day Nursery and Preschool marked the occasion on 14 March with a ribbon-cutting ceremony presided over by the Deputy Mayor of Beaconsfield, Cllr Alex Dunlop. Families were invited to drop in, enjoy a coffee and explore the newly transformed settings, a celebration as much about community as it was about new interiors.

Quote from Cllr Alex Dunlop, Deputy Mayor of Beaconsfield:

“It was a real pleasure to join families and the team at Brindley House and Northgate House to mark this important occasion. These beautifully refurbished nurseries are a fantastic asset for Beaconsfield, providing welcoming, highquality spaces where young children can learn, grow and thrive. It is clear this investment will benefit local families and the wider community for years to come.”

The refurbishment represents a meaningful investment in the local community. As well as breathing new life into both settings, the works have expanded capacity at each nursery, creating space for more local families and opening new opportunities for those looking to join the team.

Melanie Pease, Regional Director at Bright Horizons:

“The completion of the refurbishment at Brindley House and Northgate House marks an exciting milestone for our teams and for local families. These refurbished environments have been thoughtfully designed to support children’s learning and wellbeing, while strengthening the role our nurseries play at the heart of the Beaconsfield community.”

For the teams at both nurseries, the refurbishment marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. One shaped by a deep commitment to the families and children who sit at the heart of everything they do.

Both settings provide early years education and care rooted in the Bright Horizons Nurture Approach which is a bespoke curriculum designed to support children at every stage of development. Daily life centres on purposeful play and guided learning, helping children grow socially and emotionally while building key skills in counting, reading and writing. By working closely with families and building trusting relationships, the teams create a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels understood, valued and supported as they grow.
