Summer extravaganza secures funds for Bright Horizons Foundation for Children

Bright Horizons Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool in Wilmslow recently hosted a delightful summer festival for local families in its community. The event, which took place on June 22, featured an array of summer-themed activities, including face painting, pony petting, a cake stall, and a barbecue. Attendees also enjoyed classic games like the coconut shy.

Local businesses in Wilmslow generously donated prizes for a mega raffle, with all proceeds going to the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children. The Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children and families facing crisis and disadvantage. Their Bright Spaces provide enriching play environments designed to help children heal from trauma caused by domestic violence, abuse, homelessness, parental imprisonment, and ill health.

Angela, the Nursery Manager at Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool, expressed her gratitude: “I want to thank each and every person who attended our Open Day. We raised an incredible £1000 for the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children. These funds will contribute massively to the wonderful work of the Foundation.”
