Summer Fun at Bright Horizons Nursery in Basingstoke

Basingstoke Copper Beeches Day Nursery and Preschool, located on Cliddesden Road, held an exciting Open Day on Saturday for families from the community. 

It was a fun tropical themed event and on the day its Nursery Practitioners organised summer-themed activities for the children, including water play and beach themed games. Refreshments were available throughout the day. Families also had the chance to tour the Nursery and the stunning garden grounds, which now boasts a Yurt, called Copper Cottage!

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service joined the team in the morning to the delight of all the families who got to explore the fire truck. Even Candy Floss, our very own health and safety superhero, managed to get onboard!

The Nurture Approach, which is part of the curriculum at Basingstoke Copper Beeches, puts children’s emotional development and wellbeing at the centre of the nurseries everyday practice recognising that children’s wellbeing and emotional development is key to all aspects of learning.
