Bolton bakes for Children in Need

Bright Horizons Bolton Day Nursery and Preschool recently held a bake sale which raised over £150 for Children in Need.

Colette Fairhurst, nursery manager at Bolton said: “Aaminah, our baby room leader, was in charge of the initiative and all the cakes were baked or donated by our colleagues. Parents were then able to purchase the cakes and baked goods at drop-off and collection time. The team and the children also dressed in pyjamas or Pudsey clothing which was a lot of fun. It was an excellent couple of days with lots of exciting activities taking place for the children to take part in, and many donations being collected for a great cause.”

Children in Need funds thousands of charities and projects in every corner of the UK. Money raised through the campaign supports children and young people to feel and be safer, have improved mental health and wellbeing, form better, more positive relationships and be given more equal opportunities to flourish.
