Looking forward in Buckhurst Hill as new manager appointed

Bright Horizons News

A brand-new Bright Horizons nursery in Buckhurst Hill will be led by manager Tiffany Haimowitz when it opens this November. Tiffany has more than 14 years’ worth of experience in Early Years and is delighted to embark on this exciting new opportunity.

The new Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool, located on Palmerston Road, will create up to 36 jobs and offer 90 places for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Previously an independent school, the building will undergo a full interior fit out, as well as complete external works for a new outdoor area at the rear.

Tiffany said: “I am looking forward to beginning a new chapter in my career with Bright Horizons. At present I am focusing completely on recruiting a dedicated and passionate staff team. Once we open our doors, we’re looking forward to supporting many new families through the quality of teaching that we will offer, which will be driven by our very own Bright Beginnings curriculum.

“A career in Early Years is so rewarding. Each day you are making a difference to the lives of young people, providing them with opportunities and experiences to enhance their learning and development in an environment where they are able to interact with peers. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for Early Years with my new team here at Buckhurst Hill once they are on board. I’m so looking forward to our great new setting opening and to meeting the new families and supporting them and their children through their journey with Bright Horizons.”

Tiffany started her career at Bright Horizons when she joined Chigwell Day Nursery and Preschool back in 2007, progressing quickly to become a Room Leader and then Third-in-Charge. By 2015 she became a Deputy Manager and in 2020 advanced to Nursery Manager, initially at Heron Quays Day Nursery and Preschool on Canary Wharf and then most recently at Tabard Square Day Nursery and Preschool.

The new nursery at Buckhurst Hill will feature the latest learning equipment and resources, as well as a children’s learning kitchen, art studio and dedicated a Growing Enhancements area. Its garden will include play structures helping to inspire young minds and build a love of the outdoors.
