Children at Bright Horizons Guildford Day Nursery and Preschool at the University of Surrey recently enjoyed a teddy bear picnic after bringing in their favourite from home.
The children each created a picture of their bears using a range of materials and also took part in a role play before the picnic.
“The bears helped the children to count with them and sort them into colours and sizes,” said Nursery Manager Leah Dyer. “The children also took part in a show and tell session to inform their friends of when they got their bears and how important they are to them.”
