Brand-new nursery opens in Haddenham

Bright Horizons has now opened its latest brand-new nursery – Haddenham Day Nursery and Preschool.

The nursery offers five individual rooms which are tailored to each specific age groups and an external play area for toddlers and preschool children, as well as a separate garden for babies.

Children attending the nursery will be well prepared to transition to school through Bright Horizons’ Ready for School programme containing Growing Writers, Growing Readers and Growing Mathematicians programmes within, among others.

The nursery offers an innovative new Early Years curriculum, Bright Beginnings, a pioneering curriculum which focuses on children’s emotional wellbeing as the key to learning. The curriculum is designed to acknowledge the individual voice and needs of each child to promote confidence, wellbeing and a genuine love for learning. It features loose parts, encouraging children to play freely with everyday items, whilst being supervised at all times, to enable them to develop creativity, solve problems and make connections in their learning.

All food provided to the children is nutritionally balanced and freshly cooked by an on-site chef.

Joanne Titcombe, Nursery Manager, said: “We are very excited to have now opened Bright Horizons Haddenham Day Nursery and Preschool and welcomed the first children and families through our doors. We look forward to supporting all of the children on their educational journey to achieve their full potential.”

Mel Pease, Regional Director, said: “We are delighted to have now opened our brand-new nursery in Haddenham and can now provide exceptional care and education to children and families in the local community. Our nursery offers children an environment where they can flourish whilst beginning a lifelong love of learning.”

The nursery is located adjacent to the local train station with excellent rail and road links.
