Harwell nursery children construct cranes
Date: 28 Jul 2021
Children at Bright Horizons Harwell Day Nursery and Preschool have been learning about different types of transport, showing a particular interest in construction vehicles.
A mobile crane recently visited the nursery which prompted the children to create their own cranes.
“This was a fabulous opportunity for the children to share their thoughts and ideas as well as think creatively,” said Nursery Manager Alison Dwight. “It also enabled staff to extend the children’s learning, including their vocabulary.”
Bright Horizons now provides twice-weekly access to Covid-19 lateral flow tests for all staff within our nurseries, in line with the Government’s guidance and protocol for early years settings in England. This marks the latest step in Keeping Everyone Safe within our nurseries.
