Reigate nursery children enjoy bug-themed activities

Children at Bright Horizons Reigate Day Nursery and Preschool have been showing a keen interest in bugs in recent times.

Staff built on this interest shown by the children by hiding bug toys in the sand. Children were tasked with finding them, which developed their interest further through sensory play.

“We have also been creating our own bug hotel by painting a cardboard box together, taking it in turns to use the paint and exploring the marks that we can make using brushes and our hands,” said Nursery Manager Louise Peek.
