Nursery staff dress bright for Cystic Fibrosis Trust

Staff at Bright Horizons Leverstock Green Day Nursery and Preschool in Hemel Hempstead recently dressed up in bright yellow for the day to show support for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

“This is a charity very close to the nursery’s chart and we were delighted to show our support by dressing up to make this the brightest day of the year,” said Nursery Manager Rae Grace.

Bright Horizons now provides twice-weekly access to Covid-19 lateral flow tests for all staff within our nurseries, in line with the Government’s guidance and protocol for early years settings in England. This marks the latest step in Keeping Everyone Safe within our nurseries.

Preschool children at Bright Horizons Forest Park Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool have been practicing their balancing skills using trays.

The children each had a turn practicing with pretend food then later used water in bowls to help with being steady and controlled whilst walking with the tray.

“This is getting the children ready for when they have lunch in school and carrying all their food, utensils and a drink through a lunch hall,” said Nursery Manager Jemma Dove. “They children learned about taking it slow, being patient and hand-eye coordination.”
