Crewe embrace visit from police officers

At Bright Horizons nurseries, we regularly meet the people that help us. This week, the children at our Crewe and Muswell Hill nurseries met some police officers and a paramedic respectively.

The police officers arrived at Crewe Day Nursery and Preschool to talk to the children about the ways they can stay safe in the community, as well as the job they do to ensure that themselves.

“The children also enjoyed having a look at and then exploring the police car,” said Deputy Nursery Manager Nicola Harvey.

Finchley nursery children enjoy visit from paramedic

Children at Bright Horizons Muswell Hill Day Nursery and Preschool were recently treated to a visit from a local paramedic who spoke to them about her role.

The children enjoyed watching a video which showed the inside of an ambulance and explained more about what a paramedic does.

“There was also the opportunity for children and staff to try on different outfits to that similar to a paramedic,” said Deputy Manager Siobhan Boland.
