Westferry Circus Nursery provides high-quality emergency back-up care and holiday club care only.
We are located within Columbus Courtyard on the Canary Wharf Complex (towards South Colonnade).
Back-up care supports parents when their regular childcare arrangements are unavailable and reservations can be made here up to 35 days in advance. Westferry Circus differs from a full day nursery as we don’t have a formal curriculum/routine in place – we’re here to fill your child’s day with exactly the kind of learning activities and play which they love! Upon first visiting the nursery, we’ll ask you to complete a daily routine sheet to help our practitioners learn more about your child’s preferences and routine.
We offer a range of fun and exciting activities for all ages - including trips to the Science Museum and our Forest School (on selected school holidays). Westferry Circus children also benefit from all of the exciting facilities available at our Columbus Courtyard Nursery - they can enjoy different sounds, lights and tactile toys in the Sensory Room, get energetic and jump around in the Bounce Room, or explore our enormous Play Room – an impressively sized space for fun and learning which includes ride-in cars, a Wendy House and a large sand-pit.Our unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well established Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

I started my career in childcare as a Nursery Assistant 15 years ago and I’m proud to say that I’m now the Nursery Manager at Westferry Emergency Back-up Centre. I joined Bright Horizons 3 years ago and am passionate about the quality of childcare that we offer.
In my spare time I enjoy socializing with friends and family, shopping and reading.
I completed my degree in early childhood studies in 2015 and that’s when I started my journey with Bright Horizons. I have worked my way up from room leader to third in charge and now I am thrilled to start my new role as deputy manager! My focus in childcare is ultimately to provide a home from home setting where children can be themselves whilst exploring and developing in a safe environment.

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
