Meet the Team

Mollie Edmunds

I graduated in 2016 with a B.A Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies.

Prior to this, I began my Bright Horizons journey in 2011 as part of the opening team for our sister nursery, Woodstock Road with my Level 3 in Childcare and Education as a Nursery Nurse. Throughout my journey at the nursery I progressed my role to Room Leader, Third in Charge and eventually Deputy Manager in August 2014. I developed a wonderful partnership with parents and watched the children develop throughout the rooms. In September 2015 I left Woodstock Road to widen my experience within one of our community nurseries, Oxford Waterways. My most recent position within Bright Horizons has involved working closely with the Oxford University client when setting up and opening the Triangle nursery in April 2016. Throughout my journey I have developed the SENCO role within each setting and enjoy working closely with families to support their child’s development and growth.

As the Manager at Rosehill Day Nursery and Preschool I am very passionate about the children in my care and will always ensure their safety and security is the number one priority within the nursery.

Sarah Taylor

I have been working in childcare for over 20 years, in a variety of settings. I've worked with children from birth to 11 years and have been at Bright Horizons since 2014, starting as a room leader and working up to third in charge before being given this wonderful opportunity at Rosehill.

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
