Manchester Day Nursery and Preschool is a purpose-built environmentally friendly concept nursery situated within the heart of Macintosh Village.
Our nursery has been carefully designed to support your child’s education and development, from 3 months to 5 years, with three well equipped base rooms and two large outside play areas; a rarity for a city centre nursery. We are passionate about children’s development, and want to nurture your child’s love of learning, fun, creativity and exploration by providing a variety of resources and activities.
In addition to the curriculum, we offer a Growing Enhancements programme, unique to Bright Horizons. These are designed to encourage your child’s natural curiosity to learn and focus on reading, writing and mathematics, while also encouraging children’s interest in food and art, helping lay the foundations for future academic and creative achievements.
Our team of experienced childcare professionals work closely with parents to support the learning and development of your child, including play and learning at home ideas to support them in reaching their full potential. Our parent room complements these relationships by being a dedicated area for families and key workers to support partnership and communication between nursery and home.
Ofsted have recognised our commitment to exceptional childcare and education, with a rating of ‘Outstanding’ in their latest inspection.
Our nursery in Central Manchester is conveniently situated close to major bus, train and tram routes around Oxford Road.
Our experienced team would love to meet you and your little one, so book a visit today and we will show you everything our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the NEW Bright Horizons Family App. The app will offer a variety of features that will give you the ability to get more information on your child's day than ever before, as well as being able to notify the nursery of any changes to your planned pick-up or absences, as well as booking extra sessions.
Where possible we look to offer flexible booking patterns and a range of funding options, including the government's 30 hours funded childcare* provision. To request pricing and availability, please request a call back by clicking the button below.

I am very passionate about working with children in the early years, having a wide variety of experience throughout my career in childcare. I have a BA Honours in Childhood, Youth and Early Years and have qualified as an Early Years Teacher. I am always striving to ensure children learn and develop to their full potential whilst in my care, providing them with opportunities to challenge and stimulate them, using my knowledge and understanding of child development to achieve this.
I joined Bright Horizon in August 2018. I have been supporting children’s care, learning and development since 2004 in various child care settings, and I have been a Deputy Manager since 2007. I have a level 3 childcare qualification and hold a CERT ED teaching qualification.
I am very passionate about delivering outstanding childcare to children and believe that all children deserve to be in an environment that is safe, stimulating and enriched with quality learning experiences.
I have worked in childcare since 1997 and hold a BA Honours in Childhood Studies which I have found to be beneficial for my practice as I have been able to support my team with everyday practice.
I have worked for Bright Horizons since 2017, I started my journey as a room leader, then progressing to a third in charge, ultimately being promoted to Deputy Manager.
I have undertaken a variety of SEND training including Autism Awareness and really enjoy my role as SENDCO, helping support children with additional needs meet their full potential. Every day is different and that is what I love and hope to continue for many more years.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
