I have been working for Bright Horizons for over 7 years. My childcare career started in 2006 at Epsom Day Nursery and Preschool, where my love and passion for providing the best care for children started. During my career I have worked within all the rooms, and worked my way up to Deputy Manager.
I’ve been working with children for approximately twenty years, starting my journey whilst my sons attended a local preschool and gained my qualification in childcare along the way specialising in Preschool Practice.
I have a huge passion for children’s books and being able to share the authors and illustrators amazing adventures. I have attended workshops with Michael Rosen and Neil Griffiths which has given me the opportunity to gain the knowledge and experience to share different ways to teach letters and sounds using different resources.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
