Enfield Day Nursery and Preschool is rated 'Good' by OFSTED, and holds a 5 star EHO Food Hygiene rating.
Our 38-place children's nursery is situated in the David Lloyd Club in North London and has easy access to the A10 and the M25 and offers provision for children aged 3 months to 5 years old. The children's nursery is open for 51 weeks of the year and operates from 7.30am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday. We offer morning, afternoon and all day nursery sessions and booking patterns will always be arranged to fit around parent’s needs for their child.
The nursery in Enfield is a split site with our unit for children under 2 and our manager's office in one half of the building and the preschool and nursery room in the second half of the building. We have three gardens for children to access, including a designated baby garden for our youngest children. Staff continuity is a priority with most staff having worked for us for between 2-12 years. With 3 room leaders, 8 nursery nurses, and 3 support staff, the nursery is able to provide continuous support for all children in our care.
All permanent staff have achieved a minimum of Level 3 NVQ in childcare as well as fully trained in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, Fire Awareness and Health and Safety and receive ongoing training in these areas. All staff are subject to strict referencing, training and police checks before starting at the nursery As well as having a spacious car park, the nursery has a designated buggy storage area located outside the under twos unit to enable parents to drop their child at the nursery as smoothly as possible.
Where possible we look to offer flexible booking patterns and a range of funding options, including the government's 30 hours funded childcare* provision. To request pricing and availability, please request a call back by clicking the button below.

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.
Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
