At Cardiff Day Nursery we provide reassurance so that you as a parent/carer are happy to go about your day safe in the knowledge that your child is being cared for by a highly qualified team. We have a wonderful daycare environment that is innovative, stimulating and inspiring for children and staff alike. We have an exciting adventure garden which includes a fantastic stage, sandpit, planting and growing areas and much more.
Providing childcare in Cardiff, we are located just off Newport Road, three miles from Cardiff city centre, close to public transport and motorway links.
Our free parking means that you are able to drop off and collect your child from the nursery quickly and easily. You do not need to be a member of David Lloyd to attend the nursery, and children have access to the Leisure Club and have supervised access to the tennis courts and dance studios during the day. As part of the Bright Horizons family, we pride ourselves on providing safe, exciting and enjoyable children's nurseries where children thrive as they learn through individually planned activities and experiences.
We will be delighted to welcome you to Cardiff day nursery & preschool. Our friendly, experienced and highly qualified staff are on hand to conduct a personal nursery tour at a time to suit you.

Request a call backI started working with the childcare industry in 2002 after qualifying with my level 3 in childcare and education. I joined the company in 2008 as a nursery nurse soon becoming the preschool leader, over the years I have progressed working my way up to third in charge and then became assistant manager in 2018. I am a positive and enthusiastic person who along with my team is proud of what we can achieve to provide the highest and outstanding care possible.
Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.
Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
