Altens Nursery

Why Children Love Us

A place to grow

Altens Nursery is situated within the grounds of Royal Dutch Shell (UK) Ltd and is a purpose-built nursery providing spacious indoor and outdoor areas. Our rooms are bright and airy with designated areas to stimulate learning and development. Our large outdoor space has four main gardens including a baby garden, over twos garden and our wildlife garden which encourages children to play and investigate the environment around them. Our highly qualified, dedicated staff team will offer you a warm welcome and our nutritious meals are prepared at the nursery, using vegetables grown and picked from our own vegetable garden.

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 10 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
