Apple and Sultana Spiced Porridge


100g porridge oats

500ml skimmed milk

4 apples, cored and diced

100g sultanas

1tbsp cinnamon

1tbsp brown sugar


1. Place the oats and milk in a pan and cook on a medium heat, stirring, for 3 minutes or until almost creamy.

2. Carefully stir in the apples, sultanas and cinnamon and cook for a further 2 minutes more until the porridge is thick and creamy and the apples are tender.

3. Ladle the porridge into bowls and sprinkle with sugar. 

4. Eat immediately.
