Bright Horizons Fair Oak Nursery and Preschool located in Hampshire was recently awarded with an ‘Outstanding’ grading by Ofsted following its most recent inspection. The report acknowledges the remarkable work of the nursery team and notes the exceptional learning environment that has been created within the nursery.
Fair Oak Day Nursery and Preschool had its Ofsted inspection conducted on November 28. The visit reviewed four key categories: quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and leadership and management. On the day the inspector observed the interactions between practitioners and children as they undertook activities, as well as carrying out interviews with members of the team and parents. The setting passed all four categories of the inspection, earning an Outstanding ranking for each section.
Some comments from the report included:
- “The quality of teaching throughout the nursery is outstanding. Management empower staff to build on their skills and continue to develop professionally”
- “Parents share how appreciative they are of staff and the information they receive about their children daily”
- “Children’s interests, in all rooms, are effectively incorporated into activities to encourage their sustained involvement”
Nursery manager Clare said: “Every child deserves the best start in life, and we look to do that here, along with nurturing a lifelong love of learning. We are over the moon to receive an Outstanding grade from Ofsted. It reflects all the hard work and dedication that our team put in each and every day.”
