Derbyshire nursery children enjoy painting session

Children at Bright Horizons Toyota Bumpers Day Nursery and Preschool in Burnaston, Derbyshire have been exploring paint as part of a sensory activity.

The children were encouraged to use their fingers to squish the paint and observe as it squelched out. The activity was part of Bright Horizons’ Growing Artists programme which aims to encourage creativity in art.

“They were really enjoying this sensory experience and were happy to explore lots of the colours and make marks on the paper,” said Nursery Manager Lisa Snell.
