Children at Bright Horizons North Baddesley Day Nursery and Preschool have been exploring various different cultures from around the world.
The children used books from the nursery library to learn about where people live and the habitats of some of their favourite animals.
“Staff have been explaining to the children that although we all live in the world together, we are all different as individuals,” said Nursery Manager Lucy Fagg.
Children at Bright Horizons Lancaster Day Nursery and Preschool have been learning more about bees after noticing them fly around the nursery garden.
The children looked at the life cycle of bees, what they eat and how honey is made. They also made their own playdough bees.
“We decided, that as bees really need saving due to declining numbers, that we would learn all about how amazing they are,” said Nursery Manager Sally Thornton.
