Didcot nursery children learn about where milk comes from

Children at Bright Horizons Little Stars Nursery in Didcot have recently shown an interest in where our milks comes from.

Staff created an activity to show the children where farmers get milk from – the team created an activity where the children could milk cows. The children enjoyed milking the cows and this encouraged lots of interest and questions about other dairy products such as yoghurt and cheese.

“The children also mentioned the local farms where they are able to go and visit the cows and various other animals,” said Nursery Manager Clare Sellwood.

Bright Horizons now provides twice-weekly access to Covid-19 lateral flow tests for all staff within our nurseries, in line with the Government’s guidance and protocol for early years settings in England. This marks the latest step in Keeping Everyone Safe within our nurseries.
