Wilmslow nursery children practice writing their names

Bright Horizons News

Children at Bright Horizons Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool in Wilmslow have been practicing writing their names, in an activity part of the organisation’s Growing Writers programme.

The children were encouraged to use a chalkboard to write their name, as well as magnetic letters to form it. The Growing Writers programme aims to support children on their magical journey in becoming a creative writer.

“They are busy practicing writing and recognising the letters in their names, ready for when they go to ‘big school' in September,” said Nursery Manager Angela Brandwood-Greene.
